These are just some of the features incorporated within Gold Fields House to minimise fire risks etc;
- Fully automatic sprinkler system installed throughout all floors which allows 24 hours monitoring by the Fire Brigade;
- Emergency Warning and Intercommunications System which allows direct communications with the occupants of Gold Fields House from the fire control room or security room;
- Hydrants, hose reels and fire extinguishers on each floor;
- Emergency and exit lighting;
- Torches located within the fire hydrant cupboards on each floor.
A preventative maintenance program is in place for each of these systems.
